The OH Knee-Type disconnector is the ultimate solution for horizontal isolating distance. It shares with the Vertical Break the possibility of the reducing the phase to phase distance to the minimum value, with the additional advantage of a reduced height in open position.

The efficiency of this design allows very high performances, plus a low-consuming, fast motion, for voltages up to 800 kV, and current as high as 6300 A permanent and 75 kA short-time.

Moreover, the poles can be combined to share the same insulating column for their fixed contact, making an ideal solution for a 1 ½ breaker diagram.

The live parts are made of aluminium, hard drawn silver plated copper, with stainless steel hardware. The high performance rotary contacts are self cleaning and can bear thousands of cycles maintenance-free. The base frame and all steelworks are hot dip galvanised.

This product is available from 245 kV to 800 kV (BIL 2100), and up to 6300 A .
