The TCB, our direct entry design, is available up from 72.5 kV to 300 kV (BIL 1050) and either with gang or single pole operation. The moving arm enters directly the fixed contact, and few parts are in motion, making it an extremely reliable disconnecting solution.

Like for all our products, only premium quality materials are used to build this switch : the live parts are made of aluminium, hard drawn silver plated copper, with stainless steel hardware. The base frame and all steelworks are hot dip galvanised.

 The STC, with a twist motion design is available from 72.5 kV and up to 550 kV (BIL 1800), and is particularly suitable to EHV use, since the operation torque is independent from the arm length. After the arm has entered the fixed contact, the blades rotates on itself till it locks in the jaws, ensuring a smooth motion, and an exceptional short-circuit withstand ability.
